Li Mei's Birthday @ Home

These few days at home, except eating and eating... i've decided to burn my calories by making more food.
i have succeeded in baking my first ever banana cake!!!
recipe from you tube.
haha!!!! so cun rite!!
and the recipe works!!
some more that recipe is a low fat one..but a bit too sweet.


and then there was this day which is my sister's birthday.
actually a really early birthday celebration because she is leaving to Nepal with dad....
sigh
it was at my house, so i had to help mum to prepare the food!!

first off, i helped mum to decorate the carrot cake she baked with icing and shredded carrots.then i made my famous herb jelly, "guei ling gao" taught by my grandma few years back..
next up was home made pizza..
the ingredientshome made crust pizza with lots and lots of cheddar and mozzarella cheese
mum slicing the pizzathe all sweaty meand other nice home made food, where i helped to measure the ingredients etc etc etc.

so basically we did all the cooking and cleaning, while the princess woke up at 10.30am in the morning, and stoned throughout our cooking, or hid in her room, then got her hair straightened later in the evening..

basically she did nothing to help out.
well, a bit, by taking pictures of me so that i could blog bout it.

sigh kids nowadays...
during my days i never even thought of inviting my guy friends over...

anyway, the whole night i was busily enjoying the food, which was super nice!!!!!!!!!!!!
and then complaint all the way of how fat and ugly i look,
then compare myself to myself a year back where i was slim and pretty and photogenic.
sigh!!
